If you are interested in learning the double bass or bass guitar you have come to the right place! I, Bert Witzel, have been teaching and performing professionally for ten years and I always welcome new students who want to learn the double bass or bass guitar!
Since 2004 I have been the principal double bass of the Louisville Orchestra (Kentucky), and have also performed with many other symphony orchestras and music ensembles throughout the United States. I have over ten years experience teaching students of all ages.
Each student has a unique personality and set of skills, and I try my best to work with them to get the best results. Bass lessons with me are fun, easy-going, encouraging, and productive. My home is conveniently located in Old Louisville near the University of Louisville, which is central and easy
accessible from any point in metro Louisville.
